  • 1 heavy bottom pot

INGREDIENTS
  

For Spaghetti:

  • cooked spaghetti
  • olive oil
  • ½ lb ground short rib
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 2 links smoked sausage
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 roma tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 36 oz marinara sauce
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)

For Garnish:

  • basil
  • parmesan cheese
  • scallions

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Heat olive oil in a heavy-bottomed pot. Brown ground short rib, ground beef and smoked sausage.

  • Add the onion powder and garlic. Cook until fragrant.
    1 tbsp onion powder, 5 cloves garlic
  • Add the tomato paste, cook until caramelized or until the olive oil in the pot has a red tint.
    2 tbsp tomato paste
  • Add the tomatoes and onion. Stir until everything is evenly coated and distributed.
    3 roma tomatoes, 1 onion
  • Pour in the marinara sauce. Bring to a slow simmer.
    36 oz marinara sauce
  • Taste to determine if you need salt and pepper.

  • Serve on top of cooked spaghetti. Garnish with parmesan cheese, scallions and basil. Aaaaaaand Enjoy!
